ATLANTA -- Investigators looking into allegations of CRCT cheating in Atlanta Public Schools found only limited statistical evidence that the act occurred at Morningside Elementary.

According to the investigation report, someone at another school made allegations against Morningside teacher Elizabeth Richman, saying that Richman claimed "teachers at Morningside instructed their students to leave questions blank when they did not know the answers, allowing the teachers to fill in the correct answers later." Richman testified that she never said such a thing. (339)

Morningside principal Rebecca Pruitt also claimed to have no knowledge of cheating at the school. Pruitt is still principal at Morningside, according to the school's website.

A lack of evidence ultimately allowed investigators to decide that there was not enough cheating to warrant further action. (340)
