Zombie Santa Walk: Collecting cans for the Atlanta Community Food Bank | News
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
ATLANTA -- If you're a fan of shows like "The Walking Dead," which, of course, is filmed in Atlanta, you know that zombies have a constant hunger. This holiday season, the city's zombie fans will be helping the hungry during the Zombie Santa Walk. The event takes place at Diesel Filling Station in Virginia-Highland at 8 p.m. on Dec. 16, 2011.
Guests are invited to dress as zombies and bring cans for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Those that donate at least 10 cans will get a free shot, while everyone who comes in costume can take advantage of drink specials at the bar.
For details on the party, check out the Zombie Santa Walk page on Facebook.
If you can't come to the event on Dec. 16, you can still donate to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
On its website, the organization offers a virtual holiday gift catalog. You can support the food bank by purchasing items like fresh fruits and vegetables ($25) or five turkey dinners ($55) and you'll receive a card to give to your loved ones letting them know a donation was made in their honor.
You can also get holiday cards from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. For $20, you'll get 10 cards.
