Virginia Highland pedestrians facing a hole lot of trouble | News

ATLANTA -- Pedestrians in a busy section of Virginia Highland are lucky to have their legs intact after a water meter plate sank in to its housing on the sidewalk, creating a deep, dangerous hole.

One nearby resident did fall in to the hole while pushing a baby stroller. Fortunately, she only suffered cuts and bruises and the baby was fine. But her concern prompted her to contact 11Alive so others wouldn't be subject to potential injury. 

The property owner says she's been dealing with this repetitive problem for several years and she wants it fixed.
