Clean Car Campaign, are you a participant?

ATLANTA – (Fourth Ward Alliance) Please take a moment to look at the newsletter from the February Public Safety meeting.  Note that 75 percent of crimes in Zone 5 (where we’re located) are due to Larceny from Auto incidents, which means that police officers spend a disproportionate amount of time responding to these incidents.

Widespread participation in APD’s “Clean Car Campaign” (meaning, DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE!) will have the dual benefit of:

  • reducing crime statistics in our neighborhood
  •  freeing up police officers to respond faster and more effectively to higher priority issues.

So, please spread the word about the importance of the “Clean Car Campaign” to your friends, neighbors and guests – we’ll all benefit together!
